Roofing, siding, windows & gutters — one contractor for the whole exterior.
Most exterior problems are not one problem. A leak at the wall is a roof, flashing, and siding question at once. We inspect the whole envelope, show you photos of what we find, and put a fixed price in writing.
- Building in the DMV since 2012
- Free inspection with a written report and photos
- Fixed written price before work starts — no surprise change orders
- One crew for roof, siding, windows, and gutters

What we do
Four services, one envelope
Every one of these is a full replacement trade we self-perform. Pick the one you came for — or ask us to look at all of it.
Roof Replacement & Repair
Architectural shingle, standing-seam metal, and flat/low-slope systems. Leak diagnosis, storm damage documentation, and full tear-off replacement.
See details →Siding Replacement
James Hardie fiber cement, insulated vinyl, and cedar. We correct the wrap and flashing behind the siding, not just the panel you can see.
See details →Window Replacement
Full-frame and insert replacement in vinyl, fiberglass, and clad wood. Correct sizing, correct flashing, no drafts at the sill.
See details →Gutters & Downspouts
Seamless 5" and 6" aluminum, half-round copper, and guard systems — sized and pitched to actually move DMV storm volume away from the foundation.

The part most contractors skip
We show you the photos
You get dated pictures of the actual condition — the flashing, the sheathing, the rot — not a verbal summary from someone who was on the roof and you were not.
We price the surprises up front
Rotted sheathing behind siding is common on DMV homes. We tell you the per-sheet price before we open the wall, so a bad find is a known number instead of a fight.
We fix the cause, not the symptom
A recurring leak is rarely the shingle. Undersized gutters flood foundations; bad wrap ruins new siding. We would rather solve it once than sell you the same repair twice.

Questions
Before you call
How much does an exterior project cost in the DMV?
It depends on the size of the house, the material you choose, and what we find once the old material is off. Rather than quote a number we would have to walk back, we measure the property, put the scope in writing, and give you a fixed price before any work starts. The estimate is free and there is no obligation.
How fast can you come out?
We reply to every request the same business day, and inspections are usually scheduled within a few days. If you have an active leak, say so when you call and we will prioritize it.
Do you handle insurance claims?
We document storm damage with dated photos and a written report you can file with your carrier, and we can meet the adjuster on site. We do not file the claim for you and we will give you a straight answer if we think the damage is unlikely to be covered.
Can you do more than one part of the exterior at once?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper to. Roof, siding, windows, and gutters all meet at the same flashing details, and doing them in one mobilization means one set of permits, one dumpster, and one crew setup instead of three. Tell us everything you are considering and we will price it both ways.
Who actually does the work?
DMV Exterior is the exterior division of Karma Construction Group, a general contractor building in the DMV since 2012. The same office that runs our custom home and addition work runs these projects.
